Recipe Predictor using Deep Convolutional Neural Networks

Developing automated recognition of a photographed cooking dish and the subsequent output of the appropriate recipe by performing data analysis, visualization, split data (train, valid, test) using Feature Extraction and training pre-trained CNN

Titanic Survival Predictor

April 2020 - June 2020

Performed exploratory and statistical analysis on Titanic datasets, and predicted 32% survival chances of passengers and crew on the ship using One Hot Encoding based on categories: gender, class, fares, age using scikit Machine Learning to do Logistics Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors and Decision Tree for training and validating data splitting and visualized the confusion matrix.

Analyzing the system and system design of United Airlines and its functionality and adding new functionalities to the system by designing strategic design patterns, Data Flow diagrams, ER diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

Time Series Decomposition of Supermarket

August 2019 - November 2019

Increased the customer churn rate by 23%: Performed a time series forecasting of retail store and customer data, analyze customer behavior and trends, accessed the Hadoop data in JSON, did data profiling using SPSS, created a dashboard using Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) algorithm and a report with KPIs for marketing strategies.

Housing Market Predictor

December 2019

Developed a system which used the California Census data 1990 to predict house sale prices in the Bay area with respect to proximity to the ocean by using Machine Learning algorithm, Linear Regression, Decision tree algorithms and Ridge Regression in Python using Numpy and Matplotlib for data visualization according to the population, dimension of houses, etc.

United Airlines - Reservation System

Analyzing the system of United Airlines and its functionality and adding new functionalities to the system using Data Flow diagrams, ER diagrams using Visio.

This system allow passengers to check flights, book flights, check the status of the flights, selection of their different passenger classes, selection of the preferred meal and preferred seat which enhances the user experience. 

Added new functionality: 

  •  Lowest Fare available:  It search and compare all the fares and give the lowest fare of United Airlines flights for the requested destination after fetching details from multiple other websites.

  • System will show the to the international travelers a list of partner airlines with fares.

Customer and Store Analysis of a retail store using Big Data

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies

This project aims at analyzing the customers’ as well the store’s activities using ELK stack(Elastic search along with Logstash and Kibana) technique.
It aims at saving time to time data that is created due to the various purchases done by the customers, regular updates of availability of products on the inventory, regulation  of sale or shortage of certain specific products, profit earned or loss incurred etc.

Authentication Based on Face Recognition

  • This project based on the concept of detection of faces through capturing of their images by the camera of a computer systemusing Eigenfaces algorithm on JSP (Java Server Pages).

  • Primary function is to authenticate the user by checking the faces using Eigenfaces and Euclidean distance for recognizing the person which improved the security and mark the presence of the employees, which they use in their office building.

Digital eye-an Android application

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies

  • It is an android application that aims to apply pre-processing algorithms on the offline video feed on the open-source application.

  • This project is based on the techniques of Facial recognition of images captured by the camera of a normal mobile phone.

  • Image compression is minimizing the size in bytes of a graphics file without degrading the quality of the image.

  • The reduction in file size allows more images to be stored in a given amount of disk or memory space.

  •  It reduces the noise in the images as well as enhances the video quality for further process of detection and recognition

E-Food Court system

  • An application for the students and faculty members to place their order through the E-Food Court system.

  • The students and faculties can submit the order details that will be handled through the file system. According to the order, their need can be catered.

  • This helps in easy management of orders placed at the food court and fast service as well. Through the system, a report w be generated that can help the manager in an analysis of sales data that would help in maximizing their profits.
